Blog Post Updates

You’ve written an SEO-friendly blog post, ranked well on Google, and enjoyed a surge of organic traffic. But after 6 months, you notice it slipping in the rankings. What was once #4 has slid down to #87. And as we know, if it’s not on the first page of Google, your chances of being seen drop significantly.

So, what do you do when a blog post is no longer ranking? You update it! This doesn’t mean the original post was bad or poorly written—search engine standards and information change. Competitors might have also improved their content to overtake yours.

And yes, sometimes the post just wasn’t great to begin with. If you started blogging before you knew about SEO, don’t delete your old content. Just update it and make it better.

We can regain lost traffic by updating old posts with fresh information to attract new visitors. Here are two examples:

Client 1: I updated over 100 articles over 6 months (April 2023-September 2023). The result? A 200% increase in traffic. And they’re continuing to rise with new blog posts!

Blog posts updates start at 250 USD per article, with a reduced rate offered for bundled services.

Client 2: A top-ranking site for Jamaican recipes, this client saw a sharp decline after a Google update in 2023. After pausing new content in June to focus on updating old posts, we regained her traffic within 3 months.
